The high tenacity Cordura fabric with Rip-Stop technology remains incredibly light while, weight for weight, being the strongest and most breathable fabric in its class.
With an optional Neck Cover available, this Bulldog Turnout Rug is superbly versatile in that it allows your horse an uncompromised range of movement while offering great protection from the elements. On its own as a simple and light waterproof layer, or combined with the neck cover and an under rug, this Turnout can be used during wet Summers or harsh Winters and offers excellent value.
A 'Breaking Strain’ has been calculated into the surcingle and breast strap design which means that if a horse were to be caught by the surcingles, they would rip off in one piece without tearing the fabric. This not only is an excellent saftey feature but it avoids expensive repairs.
Every size of this Bulldog Turnout is of a depth which is in proportion to its length. This exacting depth is achieved by having the fabric made extra wide, as opposed to adding 'side skirts' during manufacture. This also cuts down on excess seams and stitching and reduces the chance of any rubbing that would cause discomfort to your horse. Available sizes range from 5 foot 6 inches to 7 foot 3 inches. The anti-rub inner layer has been made with a hydrophilic coating that allows water to transfer away from the horses coat only, making this rug far more hygienic than one with a conventional poly-cotton liner.
